We care for every acre as if it’s our own
Shay and Hannah Foulk (both 31) are young farmers in Marshall County, IL looking to partner with landowners and retiring farmers in nearby communities and counties. Our farm focuses on quality crop production, transparency in numbers, clear communication, and a focus on sustainable and conservation-minded practices. View our farm presentation to see if we might be a good fit for your legacy and as a partner moving forward.
Our business is your legacy
Foulk Farms wants to partner with you
Conservation Minded
Foulk Farms strives to seed cover crops on every acre that will benefit next year’s crop to improve soil health, water management, and biodiversity in soils. Our large drill seeder allows us to cover many acres quickly after harvest to keep roots growing in the soil as many days as possible. This also prevents erosion.
We work to manage nutrients through split applications, only using the right amount at the right time to prevent runoff and keep nutrients where the plant needs them most through strip-till
Relationship Focused
We want landowners to be as involved as they want to be, and to know their land is being cared for. We can schedule monthly meetings for updates on the business and what’s going on at the farm. We believe in refocusing on community and communication in a world that is moving fast.
Business Centric
We work diligently to use the best information possible to share with landowners, and provide annual reporting sharing all of our numbers, data, yield maps, and more. We work on crop shares or in flex-lease agreements to make sure everyone is profitable, and there is a sustainable nature to the long-term outlook in the business.
Unlike many farms that don’t want to share numbers, we are an open book. We will show you how we run our business, and can provide any information you are looking for.
